BURHAN TARLABASI;

CURRICULUM VITAE
TARLABAŞI Burhan, was born in Kemaliye (EĞİN), Erzincan in 1942. He was educated in Istanbul after the first class in secondary school. He graduated from Usküdar ORTAOKULU (Secondary School) in 1958, From Beyoğlu Ticaret Lisesi (Trade High School) in 1961, From Economy and Commercial Science Academy Istanbul in 1966-67. In 1967 - Recorded his first "kaval" band in Turkish Radio Television (TRT).
In 1971 - worked in the same association as an officer-artist.
In 1971 - was appointed to the Ministry of Finance - Customs from TRT.
In 1981 - Started working as a "Dilli Kaval" instructor in. İ.T.Ü. Turkish Music State Conservatory.
In 1987 - Was ranked to the assistant Prof. By YÖK (High Education Association)
Between 1991-99 - Worked as the head of the department of the wind instruments.
In 2000 - Retired from İ.T.Ü. Turkish Music Staid Conservatory still teaching at the same school.

(*) It was announced in the 2281 numbered notifying magazine on the 6th of 
March 1989, to be studied as a helping course book in secondary Schools 
according to M.E.B. (Ministry of Education). 

INVENTION ( Patent ) :
Tonometric sound intervals of "Dilli Kaval" (in the tone of La-Si-Do and 
Mi flat) Turkish Patent Institute gave the Patent right for the standard 
production to Burhan Tarlabaşı and it was the first time for Turkish Music 
Instruments in Turkey (Ankara, 1995-00768 No.).
