What does ‘whistle’
mean? :
According to TDK (Türk Dil Kurumu)
dictionaries, meaning “brainless, hollow head”, it is the

What does ‘reed

It is the little toy instrument which is produced by
children from the willow tree in various parts of Anatolia,
it does not have any connection with the things explained in
this site since the word ‘whistle’ can be considered
irrelevant with the instrument and can be used as an insult,
a deliberate word to disgrace the instrument.
“WHISTLE IS BLOWN,
KAVAL IS WHIFFLED”
The difference
should never be forgotten.
